Can internal heat traps be replaced? I have a Rudd Pacemaker PE2-52 with internal heat traps. The cold water side is making loud metal clanking noise about twice a day that I believe to be a bad cold water internal heat trap. Normally the cold water pipe is warm, but when clanking starts, the cold water pipe is very hot. I can't seem to find a part number on any website for an internal heat trap. All parts references refer to external heat traps. Any help would be appreciated.
