I have some snug CI baseboards. I cannot use the desiged position for the coin vents. So i have to use the end 3/4" opening for the coin vents which is 1/8", I think.

Then i need a adapter for this installation. By searching online, this Steel NPTF Pipe Hex Reducer Bushing is the only one I found.

My question is the steel is good to be used with CI? do you have better adapter?

It's the only bushing you can purchase, other than brass. But why a "coin vent"? They are okay for a large radiator with a lot of water in it, but a baseboard has such small capacity that even a small amount of air can cause a problem. That is why we use automatic vents on baseboard, besides being more convenient.
