Home Depot has this "Matera" one-piece toilet with a concealed trapway/skirted design. I cannot find the make of the toilet or any information regarding quality. I searched everywhere. Does anyone know anything about this toilet?

I'm trying to find a relatively inexpensive skirted or concealed trapway toilet that is *not* dual-flush. I love the design of the American Standard FloWise but it's dual-flush and I've read negative reviews about it. The Jacuzzi Espree is alright, but I don't know if Jacuzzi toilets are any good. I really like the Matera but am surprised that I can't find any info. Toto toilets with a concealed trapway are a bit above my price range. Thanks for any help.

Never heard of it. I can tell you the HD is noted for selling builder model toilets which usually have to be replaced within a year or so. The Jacuzzi is Chinese made junk. There are many cheap toilets on the market today, none of them work well. The trade offs for a going cheap are frequent clogs, poor flushing performance, and repair parts not available. A toilet is virtually a lifetime investment and a good toilet will last that long.
