I did not change out the rough because it was in good shape and only a few years old. Sooo when tile guys floated and set there was no backset gauge.
Long story short I'm short. Float got a little fat (5/8) +tile +sheet rock
I'm 3/8 short for my new Kingsley trim. Any body know of a extension piece
for Moen like Grohe has?

Yes, but it is a 1" extension, which is not really a problem. A bit pricey for what you get, but when you need it they can charge whatever they want to.
