Here is what I have:
1. 1-1/4" nominal copper stub out (and before anyone asks, yes, it measures 1-3/8" OD);
2. Ikea pipes that are slightly larger than and do not fit with 1-1/2" US-standard tubular plastic; and
3. approx. 2-3/4" between the wall and the center line of the trap arm that will run perpendicular to the stub out.
Here is what I have to do:
1. create a 90 degree bend from the stub out to where the trap arm will connect within the limited space; and
2. match whatever fitting/coupling that is to the non-US standard 1-1/2" Ikea pipe.
There does not seem to be a fernco-type 90 degree coupling for 1-1/4" copper to 1-1/2" tubular by any manufacturer. Are there any decent options other than sweating a copper 90 on the stub out and using the gray 1-1/2" Fernco to connect the IKEA trap arm?
