Hi,
I have a rookie question for this forum :).

We just moved into a property that has a Delta faucet in the master tub. We have not been able to figure out how to use the shower. The tub spout works fine when I turn the knob and we can control the temperature of the water by turning the knob.

I can not figure out a way of sending water to the shower. I have tried to pull/push the knob and twist it in every possible direction.

The knob for the faucer is similar to this one. It is a Delta brand and I dont know any more details about it.

Is there something very obvious that I am missing.

Thanks

If your spout looks like this:

pull down on the ring at the nose.
