Also I cant seem to find a place to by another hot water storage tank does anyone know where I could purchase them? Lowes and Home Depot do not sell them as far as I know. I'm assuming this is an indirect water heater? If it's leaking, it's probably time to replace. If you're lucky, it may still be under warranty.

A "true" storage tank is a specialty item, and usually has to be ordered by a plumbing wholesaler.

But are they "insulated" storage tanks, which are basically an electric hot water heater without out the heating components?

Buy some 200$ water heaters and gang them up - 40 gallons each - cheapest way to go.
