We have a leak that shows under the bowl on the floor. It started occuring suddenly. When the toilet is flushed the bowl starts to drain, and the tank starts refilling, then all of a sudden a large volume of clear water bursts from the left side, from between the floor and the bowl. We used a dye tablet in the bowl and none of the dyed water came out in the leak. We removed and reseated with a new wax ring, no change in the symptoms. What can be causing this?

can't find a source of the leak between the tank and bowl, or how the water would get down to the floor without us seeing it. Is there a path inside the ceramic for the tank water that would allow it to get the floor?

Usually it just runs down the back of the bowl when you flush and you don't notice it.
