Brand new Toto Drake 1.28, installed by a reputable plumber. Now it's leaking from the tank from the bolt underneath the tank. Plumber came back and adjusted tank to bowl and says he does not know what else to do. Seller says to fill tank with food coloring to see where leak is. Can see the food coloring in water on floor but no trail showing where the leak is. What to do?

Most likely the big nut shown in step #3 is the problem, but it's quick and easy to sand the bolt holes described in step #2. Neither of my 2 Toto toilets had a loose nut, but I gave them a tug with my channel locks just to be sure. I felt the surface around the bolt holes and although they felt smooth to me, I use some emery cloth just to be sure.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
