Hi All,

Renovating house.. Tore out all cast iron pipe including 4" waste stack. Replacing with 3" drains and a 2" PVC DWV stack. Looking for help where DWV needs to tie into drain. Can it be between toilet and shower? Or does it need to be most upstream above the bath sink?

Also, trying to tie in shower. plan on AAV valves where needed, but can I tie in shower on vertical 3" waste pipe after toilet with a 2" sanitary tee? I have a Wye in the photo, but not sure if that is too steep and angle on the vertical where it will suck water out P trap. Thanks for any help.
