This morning we woke up to water coming in spits and spurts from the taps and the our jet pump sounding like it was struggling. It is a Goulds J05n Jet Pump. The well appears to be a hand dug well that is about 35 ft deep and there is water in the bottom.

I took this video of what the gauge looks like while it is running:

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim

32 ft to water. It has two pipes going down.

The next day, our water is working. I don't know if our well is potentially running dry and it had some time to fill a bit or what. For now, we are just trying to be conservative with our water usage.

But it feels like we have no idea when/if we might be out of water again.

Well running dry with only 3 feet of water in reserve is a distinct possibility. The level needs to be checked right away the next time it happens, not wait until it recovers.
