Describe Problem___
My well pump is turning on every 10 minutes.
When the pump turns on I watch the pressure gage and see the pressure rise to 45 psi and then the pump turns off.
The pressure immediately drops from 45 psi to 40 psi.
Over the next 10 minutes the pressure drops from 40 to 30 psi.
At 30 psi the pump turns on again.

I turned off the supply line into the house and the pressure stays at 40 psi.

My diagram:
pump in the well--->supply line--->shut off valve--gage--tank--switch--->water delivered to house
close here

This lead me to look for leaks under the house which I found and repaired two.
Unfortunately the symptoms are the same.
I don't see a check valve inside the house or under the house. I assume there is one at the pump?

Suggestions?

Thanks,
John
