I have a shower with two Harden-Temptrol shower valves.

One of them, the hot water no longer flows through at all.
Is this repairable, or do I need a new valve stem?
If the later, who sells them?

The other won't shut off completely. I believe it needs a
replacement cold water washer (flat, about 1 1/8" OD, 3/4" ID).
This does not seem to be a very common part.
Where can I get this washer, or washer kits for this valve?

From photographs that I have seen online, and Symmons
installation and repair instructions, it appears that the
Syymons Temptrol valve is an almost identical design.
Also Symmons has owned the "Temptrol" trademark since 1968.
Is the Symmons Temptrol valve the same, or at least compatible
enough that I could use Symmons replacement parts?
