I bought a new house 2 years ago. My celings are almost 13 foot high. So my living room is always cold and heat system takes ages to heat the whole house. Thinkin of installing a fire place blower and my fireplace is natural gals monessen buff 400. And here is my model fireplace that I have. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By_x6v06it17cWZZQnNYZVZiOUlfQmNxRkhmU2JFZkZUWjA0/view?usp=sharing
I bought a blower http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FK9WVVM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00
I tried to do myself and I wasn't able. I thought the lower panel is removable. But the fireplace installer told after 2 years that bottom bricks where the logs are sitting comes out for access. I tried to remove the brick and it is one whole block and is not by pieces. Can I remove the front black panel by taking out the grout against the concrete instead of removing the whole brick for bottom access to make it easy?
I called the fireplace installer guy and he told me the gas logs are connected with a long flexible line it can be left attached and the burner can be pulled out on hearth. But after checking, I have realized that the supply line sits right on the hearth stone. As per the below picture

Any ideas? The fireplace guy wants to install this for $250.
