Help. Got a frost free here in Montana that is an 8 footer with 6 underground. Worked fine Tuesday. Today the handle worked but it did not open all the way. Seems it was about 1/4 inch short of full opening. Could it be frozen? Weather here has been warm 40's to 50's in the days and 25 to 30's at night. Ground is frozen pretty good but run off is soaking in. Do I need to take this thing apart? I use it for water for my horses. Neighbor had problem with his when his septic froze. His outside water froze too. This was two weeks ago. Any ideas would help.
