New Construction in Michigan which has adopted IRC 2015, and I believe the 2015 plumbing code as well.
I have appropriate drain tile on the outside of the basement walls with leader pipes coming through the footing, as is normal. Going to run them to a sump and up and out, as per normal practice.
But... code is incredibly sparse when it comes to what needs to happen inside the walls. R405.2.3 just mentions that a sump needs to be provided. Chapter 33, Storm Drainage, does no better.
Is there anything wrong with connecting a schedule 30 Tee to the leader pipes and run a single pipe along the wall and to the sump?
Thanks!
Dave
