Seen a drill bit on youtube to make a quick flare on copper. Anyone know if this is ok for a gas line
I bend automotive brake lines all the time and end them with a flare kit.

I like my brakes to work when I hit them, and not piss out of a poor connection I made with an improper flare.

A leaking gas line can explode, right?

A "drill bit" to make a flare? That sounds like it would be removing/cutting material to make a taper rather than flaring - which would be a bad thing.
