putting new Aqua Source faucets in on new granite vanity. these are the cheapest oil rubbed bronze faucets HD had. the shanks/threaded inlet tubes are not long enough to get through granite then the nuts that attach the assembly to the slab and let the supply line have enough to bottom out the compression hose. headed to town in a few to see if Lowes has extensions or a flatter nut or if the cheap ball nose risers have shallower threaded nuts. If anyone has ran into this?.........

Not understanding your question? Is this a kitchen sinkmixer. Are you referring to the flexible hoses not being long enough or the fixation bolt holding the mixer to the granite not long enough.

He bought an AquaSource bathroom faucet at Lowes -- perhaps this one: https://www.lowes.com/pd/AquaSource...nse-Bathroom-Faucet-Drain-Included/1000079821 The description did not state a maximum thickness that it could be installed into, and he finds it does not fit his new granite countertop. He is looking for some kind of extender or adapter to let him fit that faucet into the thicker material.

AquaSource is a Lowes house brand.

One only runs into this sort of thing (and I have) when someone forgets to cut large enough holes in the granite/vanity top so
the faucet is installable. No one installs faucets on a 4" slab of material. There are no such extenders.

Is it not just a simple matter of extending the bolt.Or is it the type that is a threaded tube,35mm x1mm pitch.

I am picturing (lacking a picture from alexava) a mounting like in the picture below where a big nut is supposed to screw on and hold things in place. In the picture, there is a different problem; there is not enough clearance to put the nut on. But in alexava's situation, the threaded portion is not long enough to get below the bottom of the granite sufficiently.

We don't know how thick the granite is.

If its like in the picture he would have to get an extended nipple machined up.I make some of these out of 35 mm brass tube and machine a 1.5mm thread on it.

Most slabs come in either 2 or 3cm thick and most valves will have their attachment provisions long enough to handle that. How thick is your slab?

Depending on the diameter of the hole through the slab, you may not have enough room to screw on a fitting to then extend things.

If you must use that faucet, you might need to have a stepped nut made where part of the nut was machined away to fit inside the hole in the slab so it can be catching some threads. If the hole in the slab isn't big enough, it won't have any strength. You'd also need to bore out the hole in the washer and/or gasket so that step of the modified nut will fit through.

Much easier, probably , to find a different valve that will work without modifying things! faucetmate.com might have something to help out...never dealt with them.
