I posted this in general but figured I probably should have placed it in code questions....I am looking to see if the bathroom in my basement follows code. I attached a diagram (crude) i am in Town of Brookhaven on LI New York. Mostly can venting system and ejector share same 2" vent to roof? Thanks,
Mike

There is absolutely no problem doing it that way. Some areas do not want the ejector, or fixture piping, connected to the building's vent system because the interconnection can allow sewer gases, from the city sewer system, to enter the pump pit. Since the covers often lose their seal afterwhile that can give odors in the room. The ejector system, by itself, does not generate the same amount of odors.
