As the title says. About 10% of the older wells in my area used 6.5inch well casing. As we replace those wells or extend them up above grade with 6 inch casing they become even less common, but occasionally I need to work on one and keep it was is. I usually rebuild them. I have spare gaskets, polish them up, replace the bolts and continue on.

I'm out of replacement cast pieces now, I'd been working with my scrap ones for a while. So if I run across one with a cracked piece or bad threads my options suck.

None of my suppliers have been able to find them for me.

You guys have a source?

list several.

http://www.completeplumbingsource.com/american-granby-psws61-4x2-6-1-4-x-2-abs-well-seal says "Fits 6-1/4" - 6-1/2" I.D. well casings"

Thanks, that's helpful. Mostly I need 1 1/4. Usually if it's an older well it's being kept up rather than replaced because it has a yield worth keeping.

$89 a piece?

Hard to believe a supplier doesn't have a source but some guy on the Internet does.

I haven't put a lot of effort into making my distributors do the leg work. I only think about it every 3 or 4 years. I'm sure if I told them I needed one they'd find it. For the most part I just want one to sit on the shelf just in case.

The 6 1/4-6 1/2 ones are fine and can be used, I'd like an actual 6 1/2 though.

I have access to any major manufacturer, I have 4 different distributors in my area I deal with. I was just hoping for a quick answer, not send anyone on a scavenger hunt. Thanks for the help.

We don't have to use steel well seals in our area but we still modify the plastic well seals at times to get them to fit. This is the brand we use

"Extra sanitary".....to me that would mean a properly done casing extension (welded steel casing) and a pitless adapter
