I have a house built in the late 60's with Price Pfister tub/shower hardware. The diverting valve stem is leaking down into the tub when shower is selected. The local big box hardware stores seems to carry a few different parts all for Price Pfister. I have no idea what the Pfister model number is, but maybe someone can identify by the picture below?

I could probably just buy all the different versions and take the wrong ones back. I'm hoping someone can tell by looking. If not, take it easy on me, I'm just a beginner.

You have a "Crown Jewel" or "Crown Imperial", (same thing), valve and it uses a different diverter than the "Contempera/Windsor" most stores will have. Your best bet is to remove the old one, (you don't have to turn off the water to do it), and use it as a sample.
