Did I make a mistake not buying the 10% crosslink resin?

I got the resin that's 8% because I thought our water has no chlorine since it says 'NA' in the water report. Turns out, we do have chlorine, but they just don't test for it or display it or something. Anyway, how huge of a mistake is this? Thanks all!

No problem at all. 8% will not last as long as 10% but as long as your resin is truly 8% and not a 7%, it should last for many years.

I thought it would be a waste spending money on something I didn't need. Damn water company. How much longer would a 10% last?

Can't be much of a problem if you didn't notice it.
