We updated two bathrooms in our new house, and had our plumber install the Delta universal rough-in Delta R10000-UNBX and the Delta T17T078 thermostatic valve trim. Same problem with both bathrooms: when I move the temp control from the cold side to the warmer side, the water pressure goes down quite significantly. Has anyone else seen this problem before, and what can be done about it? Our current townhouse also has Delta thermostatic valve/trim and we've never had any problems with lowered/inconsistent water pressure... Please help!

The only thing that I can think of is that the valve needs to be flushed out without the cartridge installed.
