I'm going to be replacing an old pressure tank where the bladder seems to have failed. It still holds pressure but when I did some tests with it empty, it read 0 psi so the tank is not holding pressure anymore even though the water pumped into it seems to hold pressure fine at 50psi.

This tank has also given off a lot of condensation over the years. It looks like a 19 gallon tank or so. I'm guessing that the cold well water comes up to hot temps in the summer and drips everywhere.
As I understand it, I could install a cycle stop valve and have a smaller tank but would having a smaller tank actually make the condensation worse as it will always be cold water in the tank?

I would not worry about condensation. Your current tank did not fail due to condensation. If you do worry, there are fiberglass tanks including Flexcon Flex2pro lite.

If you don't use a CSV, you want one with enough drawdown to let the pump run a minimum of a minute each time.

There is a lot of mold around the existing pump due to the condensation, that's why I'm worried about it :)
It messed up the drywall and got into all the studs behind so everything has to be ripped out in that small room.

The smaller tank with a CSV will have much less condensation as the tank is much smaller. The 4.5 gallon tank only holds 1 gallon of water, so there is not much to cause condensation. But even the pipe will sweat with condensation in the right environment. The best way to reduce condensation is to have a ventilation fan.
