Hello,

I need your help / advice as to which solvent glue to use for my project:

I'm planning on using solid wall HDPE 4" pipe to get the water from my down spouts to the street. This is the stuff that is much cheaper than sch 40 PVC but still rigid and smooth on the inside. It says "Triple wall solid HDPE" on it, and is white. It comes with couplings attached to one end for mating with other pipe sections.

I was only able to find standard white PVC elbows, t-y's etc... for making bends & transitions.

Can I use standard PVC glue for connecting these two seemingly different materials? If not, what?

Thanks much for your help,
Jonathan
