Hi, we have colloidal clay and copper in our well water.
Our home is 7 years old and has a very deep (500+ ft) well that I've been told has aggressive water.
We have fairly high sulfur so we treat with peroxide, though we also have an H2O injection system that isn't enough to kick out the smell.
We also have a UV light, whole-house water softener and shower head filters.
I am having the copper levels tested this week before and after the copper piping to see if it is coming from the well or being pulled from the pipes.
We don't drink the water at all but have issues with the copper turning our blonde hair green (my biggest complaint!) the toilets and sinks need constant scrubbing and laundry can be tricky.
I'm not sure what or if anything can be done on top of what we already have but I'd love to fix this for good.
Is there something that would be realistic, not outrageously expensive and easy to maintain?
If a whole-house solution would be too costly, is there something that could work on a few shower heads and possibly faucets?

If it were me I would do an inorganic water sample. It would be good to have a raw water sample and one after your treatment system. My guess is you have a low pH and when the water sits in the pipes it dissolves the copper. Sometimes a softener can cause this problem to be worse. There can be several factors that cause the water to be corrosive and that is why a good inorganic water sample is important.
