Hi,
What would be the best way to convert these cooper pipes from a tub/shower to a shower (see pic)?
1. Cut the vertical pipes before the rough-in valve and use a coupler with additional pipe to reach the desired height? Presumably this will require taking out the stud so a pipe cutter can cut around the right hand side pipe.
Or
2. Heat the vertical pipes at the bottom fitting and take them fully out? The stud would not need to be removed but heating existing fittings always have a risk to damage the other pipes running through the T right?
What is the best way to go about it?
Thanks for the help!
