I was wondering if Pentair's online webinars with "Bill Corey" would apply to our continuing education hours for drillers & pump installers? Bill Corey taught a class at the 2014 OGWA Conference & Tradeshow in Oklahoma.
From their web site: Pentair Training Institute invites you to participate in learning processes, procedures. applications, how-tos, troubleshooting, features and benefits, sizing and so many more resources, knowledge and tips to accompany you in the fields of water systems and waste management. These webinars are free to the general public. Questions and comments during presentations are strongly encouraged.
Kevin,
Sorry about the phone not working. We’re in the process of changing providers and ran into a technical snag. This should be restored in the next day or so.
As to your question, I have forwarded your email to the staff at the Oklahoma Water Resources Board who oversee the Well Drillers program. They are the ones who actually approve the continuing education credit. Through our partnership with OWRB, all the classes and training offered through the Oklahoma Ground Water Association are preapproved. But they will have to answer your question about approving this course, as it was not offered by OGWA and we cannot approve it for you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if you don’t hear back from OWRB soon.
Thanks!

Kevin,
If you could, please send us documentation of the specific webinar/class that you would like to attend so that we can evaluate it. Once it is pre-approved by us, Pentair or the attendee would have to send us documentation showing the completion of the course.
Thank you,

Doing it this way you don't have to spend any money on getting the hours you need for your license, just make sure that you have the safety & regulation course separate from your hours. I guess that I will have to talk with Bill Corey next.
