I was wondering if Pentair's online webinars with "Bill Corey" would apply to our continuing education hours for drillers & pump installers? Bill Corey taught a class at the 2014 OGWA Conference & Tradeshow in Oklahoma.

From their web site: Pentair Training Institute invites you to participate in learning processes, procedures. applications, how-tos, troubleshooting, features and benefits, sizing and so many more resources, knowledge and tips to accompany you in the fields of water systems and waste management. These webinars are free to the general public. Questions and comments during presentations are strongly encouraged.

Kevin,

Sorry about the phone not working. We’re in the process of changing providers and ran into a technical snag. This should be restored in the next day or so.

As to your question, I have forwarded your email to the staff at the Oklahoma Water Resources Board who oversee the Well Drillers program. They are the ones who actually approve the continuing education credit. Through our partnership with OWRB, all the classes and training offered through the Oklahoma Ground Water Association are preapproved. But they will have to answer your question about approving this course, as it was not offered by OGWA and we cannot approve it for you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if you don’t hear back from OWRB soon.
Thanks!

Kevin,

If you could, please send us documentation of the specific webinar/class that you would like to attend so that we can evaluate it. Once it is pre-approved by us, Pentair or the attendee would have to send us documentation showing the completion of the course.

Thank you,

Doing it this way you don't have to spend any money on getting the hours you need for your license, just make sure that you have the safety & regulation course separate from your hours. I guess that I will have to talk with Bill Corey next.

Michele,

I have contacted the OWRB Mr. Brian McDonald and he has requested some information from me which I will work on this week and I believe we will be able to help Kevin get some CEU. Thanks for your help in this it is something we have been trying to do for quite a while now.

Kevin,

One of the things I was asked for is proof you were on the calls so if you can provide me with that information I can check my records and maybe we can get you some back points if not at least the next Webinars you are on might count. Remember this is a process and takes time but we are all working for the same thing, to give you a place to make it easy for you to get your points. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

I remember that. These were great classes. Now I always use additional sources when I learn something new. I am studying computer science at the University. I really like programming. I am always ready to learn if I know that it will help in my future profession. Sometimes we taught an outdated theory at the University and few people taught it because it didn't make sense. Before the exams, everyone was very excited. I was very surprised when the guys from https://cciedump.spoto.net/ were able to help me pass it in a couple of days. I stayed in a budget place! Now I always teach the theory, whatever it is, so additional sources are always useful!

I am sorry, but Bill Corey or anyone associated with a company who profits from pump installations should not be giving CEU classes. These type classes are heavily slanted to favor the manufacturers most profitable products. I used to give these classes all over the country and tried to be very generic by sticking to the facts and not mentioning products, especially by name. However, everyone else just uses these classes as a way to promote and advertise their products. The companies who spend the most money advertising in the magazines and donating to the venue get to choose what classes everyone gets to hear. I have been dis-invited to give classes. It seems the pump manufacturers don't want me telling the truth about how pumps work, as that shows the inadequacies of their products. These big companies have refused to participate and donate if I am allowed to give classes. CEU classes are a joke as they are nothing put propaganda and advertisement for the products these companies want to sell.
