I want to connect a second pressure tank to my existing tank that operates off a submersible pump in order to increase my overall capacity so that I may water cattle. Can I do that? And if so, how do I make the connection.

Yes, you can do that. Just tee it off of the line from the pump like the existing tank. Be sure to set the precharge in the new tank to 2 psi less than pump cutin pressure.

Thanks Ron.

Just so I understand, I essentially hook the second tank in parallel to the first, teeing into the line from the pump. Do I need to also connect the otherside of the tank to main line feeding into the house supply?

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
