Compostin Toilets?

Does anyone have any experience/opinions with composting toilets? I would like to know more about these. If anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate it.

They are a lot of work, but well worth it in some rural situations.

With proper maintenance and cleaning, they work well. You also have to have an area outside to compost the waste.
