I am trying to finalize the layout for a cabin I am plumbing. I have a questions on required cleanouts.

I thought I read somewhere that the removable sink traps count as cleanouts? I was told by a retired plumber this is not true. How about a shower drain?

UPC is the law of the land.

@ the base of all of your stacks where they go into the floors, mainly the 3" stacks and the 2" kitchen drain if separate. Shower drain does not need a cleanout; it can be rodded through the trap to clear the obstruction.
