Heya,

Does any one know how reliable they are ... I'm planning to put system in to bypass every 2 weeks to kill bacteria in pipes by letting chlorine..

And does anyone know the bypass flow rate, how many gpms ? it looks very restrictive

Very reliable, not restrictive at all. Flow rate had more to do with velocity/frictional loss calculations. This valve will easily flow more than you would ever use in a regular residential application.
