Can I fix this bathroom faucet myself? It is leaking at the base.

I know very little about plumbing, but I notice I have a faucet that is leaking around the base on top of the counter, and also a little underneath into the cupboard. When I mean base, I mean the where the faucet and the countertop meet together. It's like water is coming out from under the "seal" at the bottom, if that makes sense. I also found water dripping underneath. Not too terrible, but it's prolly been happening a long while since the wood is bubbling up down there.

Is this something I can fix on my own, or does a handyman have to come out and replace the whole faucet?

Is there a video that shows me exactly what to do for this particular model?

Here is a picture, and I drew arrows where the water is leaking from:

It’s hard to say where the leak actually is. It could be under the handle from the cartridge and since it is a small amount at a time, the water travels down the side and you cannot see it. Where you are pointing to is nearly impossible go leak from under the seal, it is why I suspect the cartridge.

These faucets from the cartridge to the aerator have small brass or copper tubing. Possible the leak is under the spout and drips back.

Another possibility is it leaking around the aerator where it threads onto the faucet.

If it’s worth fixing or replacing, I would replace. The finish is pitting.

You'd have to pull the faucet and reset, and perhaps bench test it while your are at it. Hardly worth the effort unless you have tools and time.

Mr Jenkins44 its pretty easy to repair but as others said it could be a number of problems causing it including as simple as the aerator . could be the cartridge some how leaking around the handle area then dripping underneath faucet . if you need to remove faucet angle stops and or supply lines likely need changing .
you would need the same tools and close to the same time putting a new faucet and something could bust so have the budget for time , money and tools to do the job. these jobs arent usually too bad but stuff can go wrong not horribly usually but it might be an hour or 8 for a first timer probebly like 2 1/2 hours.
I agree faucet looks ok not bad not swell up to you your home not going to talk you into one way or another though I lien toward new watch a few you tube videos
