I realize this isn't the geatest wayto add a bathroom, but I'm desperate. I was wondering if I can put the P Trap for the shower and sink inside the heated part of my basement and run a pitched horizonatl pipe to the p traps. It could be quit long, like about maybe 6 ft. I did read the post about the residual stuff in the pipe. The crawl space will have access though my basemen window but i don't think that is good enough to keep any P trap with water init from freezing in the Boston area.
