bathtub p trap and drain

I live in washington state and am installing a new whirlpool tub and was wondering how far you can put a p trap from the bathtub drain and what is the max distance I can put a vent from the p trap using 1 1/2 drain tubing.

The distance between the trap and the vent on a 1.5" line is 42" in Washington State.

You can go 60" on a 2" trap arm.

drain to p trap

thanks for the info,now all I need to know is how far can the p trap be from the tub drain. do I need to have the trap right at the tub or can it be away from the tub as long as its in line. reason I'm asking is that the tub is on a concrete slab and the drain tube is going to go through a hole drilled through the foundation wall. I was hoping to be able to tap into one of the other vents under the house.
