Just hung up with Terry L on the phone, he gave me the OK to re-post this thread:

A couple years ago I was looking through the frost proof sillcock threads and came across one that ended with something like "…if only someone could come up with a way to put a ball valve at the end of a frost proof sillcock."

¼-turn ball valve frost proof sillcocks are now available through plumbing wholesalers.

please direct any inquiries to sales@quarter-ball.com

The problem with your posting here is that if our wholesalers have them we do not need to read about it here. If they do not, your posting does not help us, so you need to contract them about stocking the item.

I think that info is provided so that You folks that use the stuff every day will use the product if it is good.

If you like it you will ask the wholesaler and they can stock it if you need it.

With the Internet now a days wholesalers are just a middle man that buys in bulk, any one can be one.

Have Fun.

Photo taken today in Ohio. Please remind your customers to remove their hose before the first freeze of the season.

Although a little late to the party, I bought a POS Legend sillcock (T-550 14") from home depot and this is what happened to it. The nitrile rubber cup washer installed on the stem inside of the body was completely shot. Instead of spending $25 buying a replacement stem and have the same problem reoccur, I'm going to purchasing a Quarterball from supplyhouse.com instead.

That's what it looked like when I pulled it out. The rubber cup washer is supposed to be in that groove and the thing was completely distorted out of shape. Looking forward to the Quarterball replacement (model QB-114MF).
