I need to offset a 1 1/2" drain line in a wall to clear a 4" dryer vent just below the floor. The dryer vent and drain have to live happily together in a very tight joist space. Basically I need to take the drain from the front of a 2x4 wall to the back.... an offset of about 1.5 inches.

Is it OK to use back to back 45 degree street elbows similar to Charolotte 323 ell?

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
