My septic line currently only has one cleanout, which is located in the basement. I fear that if the line should ever clog, all the sewage will flow into the house when I open the cleanout. I propose to add another cleanout just outside of the foundation. My question is, if the cleanout is close to the foundation, will it be more difficult to snake the line if the snake has to do a U-Turn (represented by the red line)?
