I am preparing to remodel a bthroom and am inquiring as to the benefits and drawbacks of both acrylic and cast iron tubs, I am leaning towards acrylic currently. Can you lend a little insight

Also I am wanting to relocate a toilet and have a concrete slab. Other than the issues of cutting the concrete and relocating the drain pipe what other items might an amatuer weekend warrior preparing to tackle a bathroom remodel be afraid of in the is scenario.

Thanks, BB

Cast is nice but heavy to handle.

Moving the toilet also might require you to re-vent it, this will depend on your code and what the distance your moving it to and how far the existing vent will be if you move it.
