Hello, I have a water filter that has a 3/4" PVC pipe coming from it and I need to adapt to 3/4" copper before getting to water heater. Any suggestions would be helpful.

PVC and copper have different outside dimensions.
We typically use threaded fittings to make the transistion between the two.

Female PVC threaded fittings can eventually split, and male fittings can snap off. They make special fittings that are more reliable, but they cost a lot more.

Not saying this one is good or not, but a quick search turned up: http://www.czhuasheng.com/en/content/?312.html
