    No Slip Strips for Toilet on Ceramic Tile?

    Am installing a Toto toilet on a newly installed ceramic tile floor. Somewhere I read about putting thin no slip strips on the bottom of the toilet, where it contacts the tile, to eliminate movement between the ceramic surfaces until everthing setttles into place. Is there any merit to this?? Ray

    Sealant for Flange to Lead Pipe.

    I need to install a new flange on a lead pipe. The pipe has an immediate elbow under the floor so I cannot use the flange with a neophren gasket designed for this purpose, since its extra length would partially block the pipe. It appears my only choice is to use a standard, shorter plastic...

    As part of a bathroom remodel we are planning on installing ceramic tile. Removed the flooring and remains of the old flange and am trying to figure out the best way to proceed. Purchased one of those flanges with a neoprene gasket to fit non-plastic pipes, but the lead sewer pipe extends 3/8"...
