    Rotten Egg Smell in Water

    We removed the anode rod from our Hot Water Heater about a year ago because of the bacteria growth and smell we were getting from our well water. We are now told that this was a no-no and it will decrease the life of our HW Heater. Question I now have is they tell us there is an "aluminum"...
