    Galvanized pipe for gas supply?

I need 1 more inch of black pipe and I couldn't find the right combo of black pipe. So I settled on 2 pieces of galvanized. I read that the issue would be flaking. Can I get away with cleaning, wire brushing the inside? Raising the heater isn't an option because the vent pipe will be too high.

Fast and Final spackle actually works. It dries like it's been sanded.

Fast and Final spackle actually works. It dries like it's been sanded. I don't know how they did it, but it really does. No sanding, no priming. It just dries smooth and is virtually non-porous. It's definitely too expensive to use for anything but the finish coat.

I have to share: fastest way to clean a paint brush. 2 flushes.

I know this is yucky, but it works and is much tidier than using a sink. I discovered it while painting in a house where the only working water was a toilet. latex only. Swish the brush in the bowl water getting the bulk of the paint off. Flush holding the handle down longer than usual. Then...
