Sweet Success! Found the Moen cartridge....$58 sucker! Anyway, the original plumber installed the plaster ground behind the fiberglass shower....which did absolutely nothing, so we had to use our trusty Dremmel to cut it out so we could pull the retainer clip out. We were smart enough to put...

Outdoor spa question - need advice with PVC

Sorry, no advice on your plumbing. But we have had spas since 1992, and got a new Coleman in 2004. This last October, 2005, we had an Eco-Spa salt generation unit installed which is made by Balboa. You can do a web search for info on this. It uses a couple of cups full of ordinary solar salt...

PS: Noticed that there is a temp limit kit that looks like it can be reset up or down to increase or decrease the max temp. Once is a while we run a bit low on hot water...too much laundry close to too many showers...would it work to set that up (counter clockwise) a little to get more hot...

ID MFG of Dripping tub/shower valve

Thanks, Cass, We'll try to get time to do that soon. What we had hoped was to find out some more details before shutting off the water and taking the thing apart. We were concerned that something was really getting bad and taking it apart might make the problem worse if we had to reassemble...

ID MFG of Dripping tub/shower valve

We have home in Central Oregon built in 1994. Tub/shower value in a seldom used bath has been leaking (now dripping pretty fast) from tub spout. Valve has no mfg ID. It has round chrome plate above the tub spout with single control lever that points down when off; H&C are at 9 and 3 o'clock...
