its 13 years and it has a slide valve and we have city water. We get water to the cold in the kitchen but no water anywhere else and no hot in the kitchen we have regenerated it once but still not working

Hello, We had house sit empty for a year so we put our water softener on Bypass, Well someone moved in and we went to put it back off bypass and now we have no water in the house! What could be the problem what do we need todo or do we just need to call a plumber thanks so much!!!!!
