The pump was stopped , no it didn't feel hot .The water level may have been a little higher I didn't check until a few hours after because I had things to do. Well I was thinking that once I looked and seen the numbers...probably going to cost an arm and a leg to get this fixed.

I only see one pipe coming out of the well so must be a shallow pump.I'll take a look at the sticky. Expensive fix if either of those are the problem?

Funny thing the pump just came on and the psi is up past 50.The water system tank feels full now...We have had it pretty dry lately maybe that is the problem.

To be honest with you I don't know...How can I tell? When I unplug the pump and plug it back in it doesn't make a noise at all..When I opened it to prime it there was already water in it?Do I have to drain it? Like I said sorry I have no idea about any of this.

It's a goulds jplus jet pump , It's just a regular well I guess I don't know the difference.The water is pretty far down. I just thought it was funny that after it rained it worked flawlessy so I assumed that was the problem.
