    3/4 or 1/2 shower?

    ID PEX vs. Copper Is the inside diameter of 3/4 PEX different from the ID of 3/4 copper? I can understand that PEX has thicker walls than copper, but wouldn't the inside diameter be consistant? If not, why not call it what it really is, like 5/8"?

    3/4 or 1/2 shower?

    We are rebuilding our shower. The walls are open and we can do it with 3/4 or 1/2. We are using PEX. I am undecided. On one hand, I like the idea of increased water flow for nice strong showers with 3/4. On the other hand, the 1/2 fixtures are a lot less expensive and there is a lot more choice...
