    Thank you Many thanks for the posts. The version I have is the blue molded one without a screw top. I was just a bit concerned that pulling wrongly on the top will break it. MJ

    Open Toto Power Gravity Fill Valve

    Hi, My fill valve periodically chirps and refills the overflow tube. This happens particularly when another faucett is opened. The flapper has a good seal. Is there an easy way to open the top of the fill valve and see if it just needs cleaning? Thanks MJ
