    Finishes on Plumbing Fixtures

    My contractor is encouraging us to use polished chrome finishes, feeling this holds up the best. Designers like brushed nickel and oil rubbed bronze (more expensive), and so do I. However, I'd go for the polished chrome if you think it's more durable. Ellen:confused:

    Building in So.Calif. and local store recommended a new Toto model "Gwyneth". 1.28 Gpf Cyclone flushing action (two jets swirl to clean bowl), comes with CEFIONTECT. One of our subs swears by Kohler Cimmeron. About $75 more for Toto. Any opinions? Ellen
