    Thanks guys. HJ, I can't implement your idea without a flat vent so that takes it out of the question. My other option is connecting to the stack that has the toilet and sink drainage for this bathroom that is six feet away.

    adding a shower to my half bath. Due to the location of the drain, the best option I see is tying it to the vent for the washer located in the basement directly below. I will have to upgrade the existing vent tubing to 2". What are the drawbacks? Thanks. Shay

    Hi all. Looking at the Aquia diagrams, it looks to me that it might be possible to use it as a back outlet toilet if I don't use the unifit. Those of you who have seen the actual unit, what do you think? I'm interested in using it in a basement istall. Thanks, Shajan
